    A complimentary shuttle service runs from Klawock Island to Klawock and Craig throughout the day, with departures approximately every 20 minutes. In Klawock, the shuttle stops at the Klawock Mall, the location of the grocery store, post office, and other businesses. In Craig, the shuttle stops at the Craig Tribal Association Smoke and Gift Shop, which features Native art-inspired products and local vendors, with additional shops, restaurants, and services within a 5- to 15-minute walk.

  • Q: Is Klawock Island ADA-Accessible?

    Tendering from a cruise ship can be challenging for guests with limited mobility, please work with your cruise line to determine logistics involved. Once ashore, the boat ramp may be steep at low tide and the terrain is gravel at Klawock Island. We do have ADA vehicles available on the shuttle route and on some tours with advance notice. Please contact your cruise line to make arrangements for a private ADA excursion.
